It was such a nice and relaxing Mother's Day! Adam was supposed to have a review session for his upcoming board exam this afternoon, but they were able to reschedule for another day. It was such a blessing to have him home all day today! He brought me coffee in bed and gave me the sweetest card. He and the kids picked out a purse for me at the mall, but they let me have it a couple of days early:) Adam and I have such a hard time waiting to give each other presents once we have purchased them! We had a great morning at church, and then we went out to lunch at the Indian restaurant. I love their weekend buffet! Faith is such a picky eater, but she LOVES Indian food--how strange is that?! After lunch, Adam took me to Paint a Piece and helped the kids put their hand prints and names on plaques for me :). It was such a special Mother's Day!! The kids are in bed early, and we are going to have a date night!!

Happy Mother's Day!

We really enjoyed your sharing the details of your Mother's Day treats! Tonight our family enjoyed an Indian meal out & we were recounting your blog post. Oliver said, "How strange is that?" about Faith liking the flavorful ethnic food when she doesn't like lots of other foods. Then he pointed out to me that he had just quoted you! We had read your post days ago, but he liked how you expressed yourself! :)
So glad you were pampered & got to feel so appreciated on Mother's Day. You are certainly a blessed mother who is a blessing to her children & her husband! And to this sister-in-law, as well. Looking fwd to seeing you SOON! Hooray!
