We have been having a lot of fun this summer! Alligator Aaron came to the library this week, and showed the kids a lot of neat animals (i.e. alligator-of course, rabbit, vinegar scorpion (Ella volunteered to hold the scorpion in front of the whole group!), corn snake, and ring tail.

Faith was also brave enough to pet the alligator, but her picture did not come out very well.
Ella and Ethan enjoyed their Globetrotters class at the library this week. They learned about Germany, and they had fun building castles and sampling different chocolates from Germany! Next week they will learn about Italy. They have also learned about Japan and Egypt.
We were excited to visit with The Stevens Family this week. They are great friends from Purdue. They live in Massachusetts, so it was a treat to see them when they came home to Indiana to visit family!!

Pictured above from the left: Ella, Sydney, Gavin, Ethan, Allie, and Faith! (Sydney and Faith are just a few days apart in age )
We had an awesome time meeting the Given family at the pool this afternoon! They also home school, and they have 5 sweet kids ranging in age from 11 to 1. Below is a picture of Faith and Savannah. They had so much fun talking about their Bitty Babies and swimming together! All of the kids really enjoyed each other! They only live a couple of minutes away--hooray!
The kids have been attending Arts Smarts Camp at Crossroads Christian Church from 9-12pm this week. They have had so much fun making crafts, cooking, singing, learning sign language, doing martial arts, playing instruments, making sculptures, etc. It has been such a neat experience!!

What fun things you all have been up to! I got your note today, what a beautiful card, Amie! Thanks so much, it brightened my day! We have been SO busy it's crazy! One more week of baseball and then evenings will be free again. You'd be so proud of Rylan! Last two games he's hit a home run each game! By the way, next Wed. is his testing day, please pray!! We are camping this weekend... thankfully the heat wave broke! Miss you much! I love reading your blog!!
Love,
Robyn

Oh, and if your kids enjoyed the sign language class, maybe they can show me their signs the next time we get to see you!!!
