Romantic Date Night!

Our sweet kids decided to plan a romantic date night for Adam and me last weekend. It was so thoughtful and adorable!

Below Ella made place cards for Adam and me with our names and the time of our date. This section of the couch was named "the kissing section". Our love seat was named "the seat of romance".

Ella and Ethan got out a plate and knife for cheese as well as a bottle of wine and wine glasses. They also made sure that all of our candles were lit. I did help them with some of these activities.

Ella and Ethan brought the keyboard into the family room so that Ella could serenade us by playing "Can You Feel the Love Tonight" while Faith performed an interpretive dance. It was precious!

The picture below shows flowers in a vase that the kids picked from our backyard. Ella is reading us the label on the wine bottle.
She wanted to serve us so Adam helped her pour the wine.
We all enjoyed fruit, cheese and crackers together before the kids went to bed. The yellow cards are place cards that Faith made for us with her name on them. :)
We had a great night, and we are so thankful for our sweet kids! It is neat that they know how much we love each other and that they want to continue to cultivate the love between their Mommy and Daddy.
