Special Mother's Day

I had such a wonderful Mother's Day yesterday! Below are some pictures taken before church.

After church we took Adam's parents out for lunch. It was special to spend time with Adam's Mom on Mother's Day! She is such a blessing to us! We are really looking forward to celebrating my amazing Mom later this week!!

Saturday night Adam and I went on a date! It was so much fun to spend some time alone! We could actually finish our sentences :) We went to PetSmart after dinner, and we fell in love with this little guy.

Yesterday we took the kids to meet him, and they feel in love as well! He is so relaxed, and he loves to be snuggled! Ethan has been wanting a cat for so long, so I think his face reveals his excitement!! We named him Owen, and he slept in Ethan's room last night and it went great!

Ella and Faith were thrilled as well. Ethan and Faith kept saying, "This is a dream come true!!"

The cats at PetSmart are from a foster agency called "Another Chance for Animals". I found Owen's profile on their website and wanted to save it :).

This beautiful boy is Tiger, but we should have named him "fluffy" because he is a gentle, friendly, snuggle-kitty. Tiger shows no aggression towards other cats or the dog that lives in his foster home. He's just a big lovable boy!!
