Roses along the way

Adam had an extra shift of work on Thursday night, and he picked up Ethan after work to take him with him to read out some X-rays in Jackson, TN. This is the first time for one of the kids to go to work with Adam. Ethan was sooo excited because he knew that Daddy had "special jobs for him to do!". Uncle Andy and Aunt Francie got Ethan scrubs for his b-day, so he was thrilled to wear his "Dr. clothes" to work with Daddy! They went to grab some dinner together before work, and Adam said that Ethan had so much he wanted to talk about:) Adam told us that Ethan did a great job helping him push certain buttons on the computer. However, it took Ethan awhile to realize that they weren't actually going to see any sick people in person. They just had the best bonding time! Ethan was teary the next morning when Daddy was at work because he was missing him so much! I decided to have a Girl's Night while the boys were working. We played with make-up and hair. Faithy did my make-up and hair. Ella did her own make-up and hair. Faith did her own make-up, but she wanted me to help a little with her hair. It was super cute! The girls had a blast together, however they missed Ethan. Adam said that on the way home Ethan said, "Daddy, I miss my girls":)

I have to share another highlight of this day. One of my favorite people surprised me with a visit on Thursday morning-Waverly!! It was such a TREAT to talk with her, and watch the kids have a blast playing together! Ethan was in heaven playing with Titan and Koen. Thanks so much Waverly for coming to see us!!
