Ella told me yesterday that she really wanted to get her ears pierced. I thought it sounded super fun! What a great experience for a Mom and a Daughter to have together! My Mom, Mimi, was there also. Ella was so brave, and she picked out pretty green studs. She is excited to pick out her own earrings in six weeks when she is able to change them. She has her eye on a pair of ladybug earrings that she may decide to buy with her allowance. She was thrilled to show off her earrings to her teachers at church today!
Faith did not want to get her ears pierced yesterday, but she decided that she wanted to have them pierced today. I told her that it might be better to wait until she is older. I did not want her to feel pressured at all, but she had her mind made up that today was the day! We had to be out of the house since a realtor was bringing a couple to look at it, so we thought it was a perfect time to head back to the mall. She picked out some cute ruby red studs-her birthstone. She was so brave, and she did not cry a bit. She said it didn't even hurt. The girls are having so much fun bonding over this shared experience. Ethan is in the background playing his new Batman L
