Our Vacation

We had a wonderful time visiting friends in Minnesota last week! We started our trip by enjoying a day at the City Museum in St. Louis. It was a lot of fun! The above picture was taken on the roof of the museum. We had a nice dinner outside that evening, and we enjoyed a great view of the arch in the background. We spent the next day driving to MN, and we arrived at the Gora's house a little before dinner. It actually wasn't that bad of a car ride (12 hours), when you break it up into 2 days.

We decided to stay at our old building so that we could reminisce and easily see our friends there. It was so fun to see Munir, Jerry, Miss Pat, Johnny, Dallas, Miss Amy, Miss Salma, Burd, and Jasmine. Below are pictures of the kids with Miss Salma.

Nicole, Robyn, and me having some girl time at the Rochester Athletic Club while the kids played together. Below is a picture of all of our kids! We sure miss them!!

(Ethan, Nolan, Faith, Grace, and Ella looking for frogs in the creek)
Ella found a frog, and she played with it all afternoon :)

The Gora's had this awesome water slide in their backyard. Below is a picture of Faith's first trip down!

Nicole and me with the sweet babies! I was so happy that it didn't take them long to remember me!

We ended the vacation with a trip to the Wisconsin Dells! We had a blast at the outdoor water park! It was the most gorgeous day ever!

Nolan and Ethan are ready for the water slides!
Nolan literally toted Faith around all day!! So sweet!

Riley and Faith
Adam took this picture of me on the ropes--I was so happy that I did not fall in!

We left the Wisconsin Dells the next morning and headed to my Mom's house. The girls and I went with my Mom to my cousin Andrew's wife's baby shower. Adam took Ethan to his first Purdue football game!! Go Boilers!!

It was so good to see you Miss Amie! So fun also for you, Nicole and I to actually be in the same place at the same time outside of church! ;-) I'm always amazed at how much you pack into your vacations! Your kids are super troopers! Have a great rest of your week!
