Fabulous Trip to Nashville with the Alt Family

Over Memorial Day weekend we went to Nashville, TN to meet some of our best friends, the Alts. Cari, Phil, and I went to elementary school together, and then Cari and I were roommates our freshman year at Purdue. We also sang together in the Purdue Express show choir. Her husband, Phil, is Adam's best friend. They used to play golf together a lot when we lived in Indy, and they were also in an accountability group together. Their two adorable kids are named Kate (4), and Hudson (2). We stayed at the beautiful Opryland hotel, and I had one of the best times of my life! They still live in Indiana, so we miss them so much! This trip was such a kiss from God!

Ethan is in love with Kate! He asked Phil if he could marry her:) Here is a picture of Ethan feeding ice cream to his little sweetie:)

We had a yummy brunch on Sunday morning, and Wynona and Naomi Judd lookalikes were there to greet the guests of the hotel. They were so nice and fun, and they looked so much like the real Judds!

Phil and Adam---seriously, every picture of them together shows how great of friends they are--I just love seeing these crazy boys together!

Awww--my sweet Cari. Her close walk with God inspired me to fully follow Him my freshman year in college. I love her more than words! Oh, and our sweet husbands watched the kids for an hour on Sunday afternoon, so that we could go shopping together. It was so fun, and we bought the same things :)
