Yesterday I posted a 4 part series by Joyce Meyer on how to defeat the devil. I love this painting of Daniel in the Lion's Den. Daniel is resting in the light of God's presence, the only safe place, and he was protected from the ferocious lions. It looks to me like Daniel is praying. His eyes are not focused on the enemy. His heart and thoughts are focused on God. At times we will feel like the enemy is attacking us from every direction. We will feel hunted. However, God promises that he will "keep in PERFECT PEACE all who trust in him, all who thoughts are fixed on him." Isaiah 26:3 NLT"For he will order his angels to protect you wherever you go. They will hold you up with their hands so you won't even hurt your foot on a stone." Psalm 91:11-12 NLT
