Crinkleroot's Guide to Animal Tracking

We had fun learning about different types of animal tracks last week in school. Thursday was so mild outside, so we decided to take a trip to the local nature center to see what types of tracks we could find. It was a lot of fun!

I know it looks cold because of the snow, but the kids kept saying how they were "hot". 55 degrees definitely feels like spring in MN!

Above the kids are trying to figure out what type of animal tracks are in the snow. After exploring outside, we headed inside to learn some more about nature.

Ella located the queen bee right away! I was so proud of her! You can see the other bees circling around the queen. They told us that the queen has been busy laying lots of eggs!

My little turtle!
This nature center has a lot of hands on things for kids to do--so fun! We also enjoyed reading for about 30 minutes in their kids book corner. It was so nice to get out and enjoy the outdoors!
