We left on Friday morning to head to Chicago for the weekend. My Dad's birthday was Saturday, so my brother Cliff and his wife Amy and my sister Carly all met up to celebrate his birthday! It took us an extra 2 hours to get to Chicago on Friday because of all the traffic--not fun! Oh well! We had a great evening with family once we arrived! Adam got a text message from one of his friends on Saturday morning that MN was going to have a winter storm starting late Saturday that we were unaware of, so we decided we better cut the trip short and head home on Saturday instead of Sunday afternoon. :(

Aunt Carly and EllaWe had so much fun stopping by Carly's dance studio on the way out of town. Carly gave the kids a mini lesson--so cute! However, Faith was pretty eager to show Carly her own dance moves :)! It was awesome to see my sister in her element at her amazing studio!

So glad you got to celebrate JoJo's b-day with him & the rest in Chicago. The dance demonstration by Aunt Carly alone makes it such a special trip. Glad you got safely home, too, before all of the snow was dumped on your region!
